Who we are

Freddy Bock

Founder & Managing Director

Freddy (left) has been a passionate camper for years and rides his road bike all across Europe – that is exactly where the idea for Offdays came from.

Along the way he noticed how much potential lies in the uniqueness of campsites and how great the demand is for such special experiences under the open sky. Before that, he accompanied new business ideas in startups in Cologne, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin from the first idea to successful growth. You can meet him in personal conversation with the operators on site.

He is responsible for the sites in the north-east.

Luca Schneider

Founder & Managing Director

Luca (right) is a passionate tiny house pioneer and always looking for unique experiences under the open sky.

Professionally he brings a solid financial background in investment banking and consulting. At major banks and renowned consulting firms he worked on deals of large European camping groups and therefore knows the industry very well from the financial side. After stints in London, Munich and Cologne, he is now responsible at Offdays for everything to do with finance and strategic direction.

He is responsible for the sites in the south-west.

How does a takeover by Offdays work?

It always starts with a personal conversation – we want to understand your site and its story before talking numbers. An independent, non-binding valuation follows. If it fits both sides, we work out together the structure that suits your situation and accompany you through the entire process up to the handover.

What happens to my employees after the takeover?

Your team knows the site and the guests – for us this knowledge is an asset, not a risk. As a rule, we take over existing employment relationships and rely on continuity rather than a fresh start from zero.

Can I get an independent valuation of my campsite without any obligation?

Yes. The valuation is non-binding and free of charge for you. It gives you a well-founded estimate of the value of your site – regardless of whether you ultimately choose Offdays or another path.
